The term “Free immersion” is easily explained. It is a rope on which Freedivers can independently pull themselves up and down under the water.
In this way you don’t have to use your fins and can save valuable energy. In addition, Free Immersion makes pressure equalization easier for you.
As part of the SSI course “Free Immersion” you will learn how to use this technique correctly and safely.
Our experienced Freediving instructors will teach you all the necessary theory and practice for this free diving specialty course.
As part of the “Free Immersion (FIM)” course, you will learn how to use the technique correctly and safely to become an SSI Specialty Freediver “Free Immersion”.
Prerequisites for completing this course include: a minimum age of 12 years and the certificate “Freediving Pool”
